CYNDI ABEE

Mrs. Abee joined Ventana in 1996 as Chief Financial Officer.  She is responsible for all financial aspects of fund management for Ventana's global funds, investing in early stage biotech, hi-tech, communications, and software companies. Financial investor reporting, audit preparation, liquidation and distribution events, and legal compliance with partnership regulations are among the daily operational responsibilities of Mrs. Abee.

Her accomplishments include setting up the financial operations of four global venture funds in Chile, Mexico and the US, investing both domestically and abroad.  This entailed a clear understanding of currency conversions, reporting requirements and government regulations of all countries involved  to insure accurate compliance.

Mrs. Abee has also been an intregal part of Ventana's investment process.  Financial due diligence through follow on investing and deal restructing analysis are her key responsibilities to move an investment toward liquidity.

Mrs. Abee received her bachelor of science degree from San Diego State University.
